Myitkyina

Myitkyina is the capital city of the Kachin State. From Myitkyina, visitors can tour the confluence (Myitsone) of the Malikha and Maykha Rivers, the source of the Ayeyar-waddy River. Kachin Traditional Manau Dances are performed yearly on Kachin State Day. There are regular flights to Myitkyina from Yangon and Mandalay.
